A return to what matters.
We live in a world of constant screens, instant answers and growing automation. These tools bring real value, but they can also leave us distracted, passive and disconnected from the world around us. Time in nature restores that balance, giving us space to pause, reconnect and focus on what matters.
Escapade was created from the belief that reconnecting with nature doesn’t require leaving technology behind. When used with purpose, it can simplify the journey and help us look after the people, vehicles and equipment that make it possible.
Escapade Brew creates a reason to slow down over a genuinely good coffee. Escapade Tech works quietly in the background, helping us travel farther, stay longer and protect what we value. Together, they make it easier to step away from the noise and return to what matters.
OUR STORY
Born from experience.
Lintek’s founder has spent nearly two decades developing GPS tracking, connected security and AI-assisted camera systems. Years immersed in screens and technology made one thing increasingly clear: progress has enormous value, but so does knowing when to step away from it.
As someone drawn to nature, he also saw how outdoor escapes could become unnecessarily complicated—too much gear, time-consuming setups and the concern of leaving valuable equipment exposed. Even making a good coffee on the road could require more equipment and effort than the moment should demand.
The idea for Escapade took shape through overlanding journeys across South Island of Aotearoa, along remote roads and into alpine landscapes. It became a way to bring two needs together: the freedom to reconnect with nature and the purposeful use of technology to make each experience simpler, more secure and more rewarding.
Two sides of the same journey.
